As is true for one of its parents, O. fragilis, the pads easily detach and connect to anyone or thing walking by. Good for sharing with friends; not so great in regions prone to violent shaking. Cactus requirements -- lean soil, good drainage, and little to no summer water. Frost hardy in USDA zone 4.
